However, there are a handful of cities that offer distinct character, scenery, history, economic growth, or unique features. Below are some of the popular destinations in America. Although several destinations may largely remain closed-off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is expected by Summer 2021 that many will welcome tourists back in.
